Post We're not the first to try this...
Other organizations and individuals have attempted to crack the seal on the seemingly impenetrable NRA cocoon.

In 2001: http://www.nramcsv.org/

In 2004: http://www.thegunzone.com/rkba/rkba-21.html

In 2005: http://waronguns.blogspot.com/2005/02/nra-board-candidate-questionnaire.html

In 2006: https://www.thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195317 This one was kind of strange -- a candidate spammed The Firing Line board asking for votes and moved along, never responding to questions or email. I've asked the guys at TFL who it was.

Some Director candidates have used the web, perhaps not as ineffectively as the unknown candidate above. Currently George Kollitides, an executive from the group that owns stakes in Remington DPMS, Bushmaster who knows what else, is running a campaign that looks like a small Congressional campaign. He has a web site, http://www.gkollitides4nraboard.com/ but it strangely lacks any kind of feedback mechanism.

Who else is out there?

Common sense tells me that there is more than just George Kollitides. Maybe I'm over reacting a bit here, but doesn't anyone else think it's a tad bit scary "we" don't know who the other guys or gals are? And also not being able to interact with the candidates?
