Since this is the sub-forum for announcements, and I promised an 'official' one, here it is:

I have officially filed for the Arizona Legislative District 27 Senate seat. My democrat opponent is the same one I ran against for the House in 2008; the same one that spent over 30 times the campaign funding I did - all of hers public money, mine privately raised; the same one who only got twice the number of votes for that money; the same one who 'represented' my district at less than 60% of the votes taken in that chamber.

You know where I stand on the Constitution and any issue we consider important. You also know that it takes money to win an election: Money to print campaign literature, money to buy exposure, money to cover the amount of space a district this size encompasses. I will not take 'political welfare', if there aren't enough people who believe in what I bring to the office, maybe we're no longer 'circling the drain', we're halfway down the sewer.

I'll be happy to take what you feel putting me in office is worth. The maximum allowable under AZ law is $410. I don't expect that from anyone, but if even a $10 bill is too much, just cut me a check for $9.11...and thanks.
